“The work, any work starts with some sort of vision it might be something I see out of the corner of my eye, something I want to draw or just an idea, something which starts ringing visual bells. Perhaps it springs from a desire to take somebody's mind and say "look at this, see what I mean". I make proposals then it is up to you the viewer to look carefully, if what you see fires your mind then the chemistry has worked and we have a virtuous circle.”
