Stunning unframed original prints by Members of the Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers are available at Bankside Gallery all year round. Why not brighten your home with an original print? Affordable and portable, original prints also make perfect gifts.
The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers (RE) was founded as the Society of Painter Etchers and Engravers in 1880, in order to counter the Royal Academy’s then refusal to recognise printmaking as a creative, rather than reproductive, art.
The Royal Society of Painter-Printmakers Annual Exhibition, held every May at Bankside Gallery, affords a fantastic opportunity to discover the charm and originality of fine art prints. Traditional skills including etching, lithography, wood engraving and mezzotints are shown alongside the latest digital and photographic techniques.
